Yes, but choose the right series. For frost use tapes series IZC — they stay elastic down to -18°C and work till -35°C. Regular tapes get brittle in cold.

90% of failures are due to bad application. 1) Degrease surface (isopropyl alcohol). 2) Temp must be > +10°C. 3) Press firmly along whole length. Max bond strength after 24 hours.

Key rule: stretch 2-3 times before wrapping. Tension triggers the vulcanization process. Overlap layers by 50%. Full polymerization takes 24 hours.
